The application of the Philosophy 1 screw to tearing the palatal suture, unlike the solutions used so far, shapes the entire facial skeleton, acting mainly orthopedically, and not tooth-like. This is possible thanks to the innovative screw construction, created and patented by the Italian dental technician Marco Valle.

By turning the arms of the Hyrax screw, we managed to get rid of the massive shank of the threaded stem and the downdraft. Minimized transversal dimensions of the bolt give the possibility of placing it high on the palate, at the height of the root tips (and sometimes even higher), at the point of the seam resistance.

Philosophy 1 is protected by several international patents.

Numerous publications of prominent doctors published in the last 30 years are sufficient to evaluate this type of orthodontic appliance scientifically.
